Overview

Business mobile phone providers in the UK

Four business mobile brands run on the UK's own mobile networks: EE Business, Three Business, O2 Business and Vodafone Business. This guide describes each one on its own terms and sets out the questions that decide which suits your business.

  • Forever Communications, part of Forever Group

In short

The UK's main business mobile phone providers are EE Business, Three Business, O2 Business and Vodafone Business, plus suppliers who arrange contracts on their networks. The right one for you depends on coverage where your people work, 5G, roaming, spend controls, devices and device management. We supply EE Business and Three Business, and can also supply O2 Business and Vodafone Business.

Who the UK business mobile providers are

Almost every business mobile service in the UK runs on one of a small number of physical mobile networks. The business brands that sell directly on those networks are:

  • EE Business, the business mobile arm of BT Group
  • Three Business, the business mobile service of Three
  • O2 Business, the name adopted in April 2026 by the company formed when VMO2's business division merged with Daisy Group in August 2025
  • Vodafone Business, which sells business mobile, broadband and network services in the UK

Many other companies sell business mobile lines too. Some are suppliers, like us, who arrange contracts on those networks; others are virtual operators that rent capacity and sell under their own brand. Whoever you buy from, your calls and data travel over one of the networks above, so the network decision matters more than the logo on the bill.

We supply EE Business and Three Business, and can also supply O2 Business and Vodafone Business, so you can choose the network that works where your people work, or mix networks by site or team.

How to choose a business mobile network

The right network is the one that works where your people work and fits how you run your phones. These are the questions we ask with every business:

  • Coverage where you work. Check your offices, your customers' sites, the routes your staff travel and the inside of the buildings they work in. Each network publishes a postcode coverage checker, and a short on-site test with real phones is worth more than any map. Our guide to business mobile coverage explains how to test properly.
  • 5G and 5G Standalone. 5G, and 5G Standalone (which some networks brand as 5G+), depends on the network, where you are, your handset and your plan, so check all four before you rely on it. Our 5G for business guide explains the difference between 5G and 5G Standalone.
  • Roaming. If staff travel, look at where they go, how often and for how long. Each network sets its own roaming zones, daily charges and fair use terms. See our guide to business roaming.
  • Account tools and spend control. Spend caps, usage alerts, bill analytics and an online account portal make a big difference once you have more than a handful of lines.
  • Devices and eSIM. Check that the phones and tablets you use or plan to buy support each network's 5G, eSIM and Wi-Fi Calling services. eSIM support varies by device and plan, so check before you order. See mobile phones for business and business eSIM.
  • Device management and security. Some networks offer their own device management or mobile threat defence services; others enrol devices into the MDM you already use. See mobile device management and security.
  • Data SIMs, broadband and IoT. If you need data SIMs for tablets, portable hotspots, 5G broadband for a site or SIMs for card machines and sensors, check what each network offers alongside its phone plans.
  • Contract terms. Contract length, how annual price changes are set out, what happens when you add or remove lines, and the cost of leaving early all vary. We set them out for you when we quote.

Write down what matters most before you look at prices. A business with field engineers in rural areas will weight the questions very differently from an office-based firm whose staff mostly use Wi-Fi.

EE Business

EE Business is the business mobile arm of BT Group. It runs separate routes for sole traders, limited companies and public sector bodies with up to 100 employees, and for organisations with more than 100 employees.

EE Business calls its 5G Standalone network 5G+. Alongside its business plans it lists a wide range of business services: spend caps with alerts, eSIM, Wi-Fi Calling, roaming options, Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile, mobile voice recording, fixed wireless access and mobile broadband, IoT SIMs, indoor coverage solutions, mobile threat defence, Data VPN, device enrolment and management, and device recycling. Customers manage their accounts through Mobile Manager.

We supply EE Business. Read our guides to EE Business mobile phones and plans and EE Business mobile broadband, and to services available with EE Business connections: Jamf, Ivanti, Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile and Mobile Voice Recording.

O2 Business

O2 Business is the brand announced on 29 April 2026 by the company formed when VMO2's business division merged with Daisy Group in August 2025. It serves small businesses, medium businesses, large enterprises and the public sector, and sells connectivity, unified communications and IT services alongside mobile.

On mobile, O2 Business offers business SIMs, mobile device management (managed by you or by O2 Business) and IoT SIMs managed from one portal. In September 2026 it launched a satellite-to-mobile service for business customers that works on compatible smartphones outside its normal mobile coverage, for messaging, maps, location sharing and weather.

We can also supply O2 Business. Read our guide to O2 Business mobile phones and network.

Vodafone Business

Its GigaCube is a plug-and-play 4G and 5G Wi-Fi router, and it offers data-only SIMs, mobile Wi-Fi and connected tablets and laptops.

For larger organisations, Vodafone Business offers 5G+ network slicing, mobile private networks and IoT connectivity, plus security add-ons. Its business roaming is organised into Europe zones and a World Zone.

We can also supply Vodafone Business. Read our guide to Vodafone Business mobile phones and network.

Buying direct or through a supplier

You can buy business mobile directly from a network or through a supplier such as Forever Communications. With a supplier, your lines still run on the network you choose and the network's own terms and coverage apply. What changes is who you deal with.

Working with us means one conversation instead of four: we supply EE Business and Three Business, and can also supply O2 Business and Vodafone Business. We can:

  1. Talk through how your people work, where they travel and what devices and management you need
  2. Help you check coverage on the networks that suit you, and test on site where it matters
  3. Put quotes together on the networks that suit you, with each network's terms set out clearly
  4. Help you switch, including keeping your existing numbers with a PAC
  5. Help set up eSIMs, device enrolment and your MDM so phones are ready to use when they arrive

We focus on getting your airtime costs down, so you can buy phones separately and choose when to refresh them. Plans and pricing depend on the number of lines and the term, so ask us for a quote and we will set out the options. For a guide to how contracts work, see business mobile phone contracts; our sister site also covers business SIM only plans.

Contact us to talk through which network fits your business.

Frequently asked questions

Which business mobile network is right for my business?

It depends on how your people work. Look for good coverage where your staff actually work, including indoors, the 5G and roaming features you need, and account, spend and device management tools that suit how you run your phones. We can help you check coverage and set out quotes on EE Business and Three Business, and on O2 Business and Vodafone Business too.

Who are the main business mobile phone providers in the UK?

The business brands that sell directly on the UK's own mobile networks are EE Business (part of BT Group), Three Business, O2 Business and Vodafone Business. Many suppliers arrange contracts on those networks: Forever Communications supplies EE Business and Three Business, and can also supply O2 Business and Vodafone Business.

Which networks do you supply?

We supply EE Business and Three Business, and can also supply O2 Business and Vodafone Business. We help you choose on coverage where your people work, devices and the services you need, and set out each network's terms when we quote.

Can my business use more than one mobile network?

Yes. Some businesses put most lines on one network and a few on another for coverage in particular places. Each network's lines are a separate contract on that network's terms. We can quote for more than one network and help you keep track of them.

Do I keep my mobile numbers if I change provider?

Usually, yes. Text PAC to 65075 from each phone to get a Porting Authorisation Code, valid for 30 days, and give it to your new provider, who then has one working day to complete the switch. We can help you plan the move; see our guide to how to get a business mobile phone contract.
