Ivanti device management, available through us
EE Business lists Ivanti among the MDM and security vendors it can supply. Ivanti device management (Ivanti Neurons) is available with EE Business connections through us; ask us. Ivanti offers two routes:
- Ivanti Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). See, manage and secure every device the business uses from one place, across iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, Linux and rugged devices, from enrolment to retirement. It combines mobile device management with traditional PC management, automates profiles, Wi-Fi, certificates and conditional access, supports passwordless sign-in with per-app VPNs, and includes remote support, app management and automated patching.
- Ivanti MDM. Cloud mobile device management for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and more from one system, with zero-touch enrolment through Apple Business Manager, Android Zero-Touch and Windows Autopilot, automatic policy enforcement and work profiles that keep work data separate from personal content.
Ivanti UEM is part of the Ivanti Neurons platform. EE Business refers to Ivanti's mobile device management as Ivanti Neurons for MDM.
Ivanti and eSIM on EE Business
For new EE Business customers on Individual, Team and Shared plans, EE Business's eSIM Deploy to Device can be used through established MDM tools such as Ivanti Neurons for MDM, which can extract EIDs from iOS devices and offer the eSIM install journey; check the details with your MDM provider. See business eSIM.
EE Business small print: Deploy to Device is available to new EE Business customers on Individual, Team and Shared plans.
Is Ivanti with EE Business the right fit for you?
We will check it against your systems and requirements and recommend the right option.
Who Ivanti suits
Ivanti is a good fit when:
- Your estate is mixed, with Android and iOS phones alongside Windows and macOS laptops, and you want one place to manage them
- Staff use their own phones for work, and you need work data kept separate from personal content
- You want threat defence that installs itself on managed devices, without asking users to set anything up
- You run rugged or shared devices, such as warehouse scanners or field tablets
Our guide to company mobile phones covers running a fleet, and zero-touch enrolment explains how phones can arrive ready to use.
Planning an Ivanti rollout
A smooth rollout usually follows the same steps:
- List the devices, operating systems and ownership (company or personal) across your estate
- Decide whether you need mobile threat defence only, or device management as well
- Link your enrolment programmes, such as Apple Business Manager and Android Zero-Touch, to the Ivanti console
- Set policies for apps, Wi-Fi, certificates and conditional access before devices go out
- Order your EE Business connections, and have the devices you buy registered so they enrol automatically on first start
We help with each step, from the EE Business order to the enrolment set-up.
