What IBM MaaS360 is

IBM MaaS360 is unified endpoint management (UEM). It manages and helps secure phones, tablets and laptops on several operating systems from one platform, so the business phones on your mobile contract and the laptops on your desks can sit under the same policies.

From one console you can enrol devices, push settings and apps, apply security policies and act on a lost or stolen device. Because it covers more than phones, it suits businesses that want one tool for the whole estate rather than a separate MDM for mobiles.

Editions we supply

We supply three MaaS360 editions, licensed per managed device:

Deluxe	Email and chat containerisation to keep business and personal data apart
Enterprise	Mobile threat defence against malware, man-in-the-middle and phishing attacks

Mobile threat defence is included in Enterprise or available as an add-on. Other options, such as Premier and further add-ons, are available on request; ask us. Licensed software can be billed monthly, with terms confirmed at quote.

Separating work and personal data

Many teams use phones for both work and personal life, whether the phone belongs to the company or the employee. MaaS360 Deluxe adds email and chat containerisation, keeping business email and chat in a managed space that is separate from personal apps and data.

That matters for two reasons. The business can protect and, if needed, remove its own data without touching personal photos and messages. And staff can see that the business manages work data, not their private life. Write that down in your company mobile phone policy so everyone knows where the line is.

Mobile threat defence with MaaS360

With MaaS360 Enterprise, or the mobile threat defence add-on, MaaS360 protects devices against malware, man-in-the-middle and phishing attacks. Having device management and threat defence in one platform means a risky device can be spotted and handled through the same console that manages it.
